Last night Radio 1′s latest Stories broadcast featured one of my favourite new bands of recent times Friendly Fires. The band reflects on how it all started, the unpredictable period of releasing their first EP and making their break. The band, their producer Paul Epworth and various radio DJs discuss their rise in popularity, their unique sound blending electronic with indie-rock, the critical acclaim of their debut album and the hype surrounding their latest album Pala.
